Hoplias aimara (macrophthalmus), Burgundy Form Trairao, 50cm

This is perhaps the meanest fish from the Amazon. Will bite keeper, nets, lures, and anything that moves. The burgundy coloured form is much nicer than the blue grey one from the Orinoco, and is supposed to get even larger.
