but then: 2 species from Iguassu, one with a small pointed mouth, one with a long mouth and big lips.

Natural Crenicichla Hybrid

It has been documented in the Southern Crenicichlas. This appears to be a natural hybrid of the local Creni.lenticulata and Creni.cf.lugubris Red from the Rio Inirida. Picture 1 = hybrid, picture 2 lugubroid, picture 3 lenticulata
